We often hear the phrase, "good command of the English language." I like to think of creating commanders out of our children through providing them with armies of powerful words. The more words they know, the more power they have to rise above the mundane and achieve success. They will transition from just hearing, "You can be anything you want to be," to believing it and making it happen. They will have the confidence to not only dream, but to bring those dreams to fruition.

Meet Clive S. Warthog. His literature-loving mother named him after her favorite author, C.S. Lewis. His name was also Clive. Clive Staples Lewis.

Clive is a warthog of superior breeding. His family is very refined and well-read. They love words. Words like bellicose, debonair, mousse, insinuate, and mosey. He also loves clever phrases, such as pins and needles, auditory capabilities, and hors d’oeuvres. He listens to Puccini and reads Dickens. He is, altogether, a lovely and cultured member of the animal kingdom. He just has one problem. No one can seem to see him for who he truly is.
